Dressmaking is a time-consuming and technical activity, I need at least six clear weeks for design and make.
The best natural fibres feel and drape beautifully, have pleasing colours, are light, strong and not sweaty. So, I avoid making clothes in synthetics.
Detailed description:
Graduating from Imperial College, I spent time in light engineering before qualifying in clothing at the London College of Fashion 20 years ago.
My work is about finding the best way to fulfil the customers dream: the material, the cut, the make.
I specialise in clothing made from natural fibres that can be washed and dyed as well as dry cleaned.
