The owner (Roger Manley) has total disregard for the Consumer Rights Act and lacks any morals. My wife ordered a sofa-bed for her bereaved father so we could sleep over to help him. The sofa arrived quickly but was not ‘as described’ – i.e. it was a cheap and nasty tri-fold with a trampoline style base and a very thin foam mattress. We ordered a bi-folding slatted wooden base with memory foam mattress. Roger blamed the factory and re-ordered the sofa-bed. This took a month to arrive, after many phone calls. On first and last use as a bed it was obvious that there was a major fault with it - i.e. there was a slope from head to foot of the bed of >120mm. Anyone staying over had to sleep on a blow-up mattress on the floor. We requested a refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (right to reject faulty goods and receive a full refund within 30 days of receipt). Roger refused to refund despite the obvious fault and the angst this was causing us but offered to have the fault rectified. We declined this and had to pursue a claim through the credit card company. This took 3 months but we got our money back based on the Consumer Rights - we had to give the sofa-bed to charity so we didn't benefit from both. DO NOT USE THE STORE OR BE TAKEN IN BY THIS MAN.
No problem with the furniture purchased, just the very poor service,ordered a chair 6/11/2015 after the manager said he had found one in stock & it would be delivered the following Saturday if we ordered & paid today ( 6/11/2015 ) this we did £995 through debit card, manager then said maximum wait would be 2 weeks, I replied no problem as long as it is delivered prior to Xmas, this I was assured would be no problem. We eventually got our chair 22nd February 2016 after many many frustrating phone calls to the manager. Please ensure you get a delivery date in writing prior to any money passing to Dreamworld Kingswinford. I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN.
