We are a completely independent company providing totally independent theatre consultancy advice to our clients solely based on the needs of the project and the proposed users of the building. We have no commercial or other interest in any particular product, manufacturer or company - our sole aim is to specify the right product for the job. Drama by Design provides a wide range of technical consultancy services foran extensive range of performing and visual arts buildings to a wide range of clients including end-users, project managers, architects and engineers. We only provide technical consultancy services, we don't supply or install equipment. However we do offer a total project management service where we will design the technical systems, organise three quotes and then see the project through to completion.

This ensures the highest possible quality at the lowest possible price with the minimum of effort. On many projects we assist with the overall design of the building. This can involve, but is not limited to auditorium design and seating layouts, front of house and back stage access, sight lines, control room layout and location, lighting gantry locations, general building access and layout and building acoustics. We usually work as part of a design team in the early stages of a project to optimise the design of the building to ensure the optimum in form and function.

We will ensure that the complex issues of aesthetics, acoustics, technology and functionality are combined in a creative venue design. Drama by Design provides planning services for all kinds of performing and visual arts facilities including theatres, drama & TV studios, concert halls, lecture theatres and places of worship. We create project planning guides and feasibility studies. Our work is carefully tailored to suit the clients needs and budget at any phase of development.
