A wide range of after school and lunchtime clubs include, netball, football training and matches, tennis, tag rugby, ICT, art, chess, craft, school newspaper, film making, recorders, martial arts and individual music tuition from specialist teachers.
We work closely with Plymouth Argyle FC community scheme who provide superb after school educational activities for our children.
Pupils in years 5 and 6 have weekly swimming lessons.
In summer months older children regularly go sailing in Plymouth Sound.
A residential weekend outdoor education opportunity is offered annually to years 4, 5 and 6 at Brixham.
All children go on educational visits often three times per year.
Many opportunities exist for participation in dance/drama activities including live drama on a regular basis from visiting theatre groups.
We make full use of workshops for able/talented children including maths and design technology challenges.
Stoke Damerel Community College provide a wealth of opportunities for transition activities to ensure children move schools more easily. These include science, dance workshops and celebration of achievement afternoons.
