Detailed description:
The city centre, with its new modern shopping area, Theatre Royal, the Plymouth Dome, restaurants, pubs and leisure facilities are all within easy walking distance.
All rooms have colour flat screen TV with built in freeview, tea/coffee making services and en-suite facilities. There is a constant programme of improvements to the hotel, which are adding to facilities offered.
The hotel is ideally situated for Brittany Ferry Passengers travelling to France and Spain. Train and Coach Stations are within very easy reach.
Devon Expressway (A38), exit at Marsh Mills and follow signs for A374 City Centre, or International Ferry port. Sainsbury's Superstore (with sails) on left. A374 dual carriageway. Estuary on your left, stay in left lane - A374 lane for city - do not filter right for A379.
Do not exit for Queen Anne's Battery Marina (QAB), National Marine Aquarium, Barbican, or Warner Village. Come up the hill to a roundabout. Exit first left.
Dual carriageway. Left lane, but do not turn left for QAB or Aquarium. Stay in left lane, do not exit for Cox side. Go through the lights, and then next left before the next set of lights, marked Barbican and Hoe.
Single carriage way, pub on your right. The Ganges restaurant on your left. Mini roundabout turn left. Vauxhall Street pass Three Crowns pub on left.
Traffic lights straight on. Straight on until Phoenix House (tall building on your left) after that immediately turn left. Drake Hotel is 150 meters on your left.

wonderful hotel
mary q.The hotel is friendly and cozy, the staff is nice and polite. We had a great time. There is so much to see in the area, it's a wonderful place. I'm sure this wasn't the last time we stayed here. I can only recommend.
