Dragon Drama is run by Rossy's original team of actors and artists. So you can be happy in the knowledge that your children are in the hands of experienced people whom some of you will have known since 1993. Experience gives us the confidence not to teach but to facilitate and that experience gives children the confidence to fly! Rossy lives in a big house in Hampton with a dog called Stanley, two cats, one fish, seven humans but eleven at the weekends! Her favourite tv show is The Mighty Boosh and she loves ALL MUSIC ALL THE TIME, hobbies include story telling and the writing of them, her favourite books are The Gormenghast Trilogy, she adores chocolate and smelling the morning air!
Detailed description:
Our improvisational workshops are designed around the way children play and devise stories. Laughter is a key component as is The Theatre of the Absurd, the works of Stanislavsky and Shakespeare, David Harradine and Keith Johnstone.
Rossy Georgeson Artistic Director-
As a child from a theatrical family Rossy Georgeson received hours of imagination and improvisational training at the Questors Theatre Ealing. Her education culminated in a Single Honours Degree in Drama at Aberystwyth University. She went on to perform in many plays, festivals, play readings and workshops all over the country. Rossy then set up Dragon Drama in 1993 in a bid to give children the freedom to express their imaginative ideas no matter how wild or crazy they might sound.
