However, I firmly believe that if you know the cause, something can be done and the first step is to gain a sound diagnosis. For example, if you have had a recent 'pap smear' you may be concerned with links to HPV (human papillomavirus) and cervical cancer. Your screening results could indicate possible abnormalities of precancerous or cancerous cells but if this is the case and caught in the early stages a lot can be done.
Of course, I understand that every woman is different and what suits one woman doesn’t always suit another. So my role is to listen to your concerns, circumstances and needs.
