Dr Horner is married with three children. When not working he enjoys spending time with his family, indulging his passion for modern architecture and improving his Spanish. Born in Switzerland, Dr Horner was originally a Consultant at The Women’s Hospital in Basel where his research was dedicated to prenatal diagnosis. Under Professor John Studd at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital London he specialised in menopause, premenstrual syndrome and premature ovarian failure. In particular his research focused on hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) with the intransa (testosterone) patch.
Now Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at St Mary’s Imperial College NHS Trust, Dr Horner offers bespoke obstetric care at two of the best facilities in London; The Lindo Wing St Mary’s and at The Portland Hospital. He is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and the Swiss Federation of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FMH). Dr Etienne Horner is renowned for pregnancy care of the highest standard. Highly respected and professional, he ensures that your journey to parenthood is a safe and reassuring experience at all times.
