A recent audit confirms that the school offers a broad and balanced curriculum which is enhanced by a variety of enrichment activities such as art week and environmental /science week. ICT is used well to enhance learning experiences.
Educational visits are an essential part of the curriculum that are offered to the children and these are partly funded by the Downham Feoffees, a charitable trust in the village.
Children in years 4, 5 and 6 are all offered residential trips at different times of the school year.
All the children in Key Stage 2 go swimming at Ely Paradise Pool during the spring term.
Safer cycling is completed by children in Years 5 and 6
The school has a strong P.S.A. who organise disco, bingo evenings, a Christmas Shop and an Easter Egg Raffle for the children.
School clubs include football, netball, tennis, dance, art, pottery, gardening, athletics, cookery, keep fit, Germanm country dancing and chess
