Barry has broadcast on BBC radio, appeared on television and recorded for EMI.
Detailed description:
Multi-instrumentalist Trevor Swale has worked with Mike Daniels and most of the big names in British traditional jazz. He is leader of the Delta Big Band and was formerly leader of the New Dixie Syncopators. Trevor plays mostly clarinet with the Dixie 4 but, when the occasion demands it, he is equally at home on soprano, alto, tenor, baritone and bass saxophones. Nick Singer is one of the country's leading banjo players and vocalists. He also plays guitar. For many years a member of Steve Lane's Southern Stompers, he has worked with Ken Colyer's Jazzmen and Monty Sunshine's Jazz Band. Nick has worked with the great blues artist Champion Jack Dupree and toured with legendary pianist Willie "The Lion" Smith. Brass bassist John Morphew has played with the Alan Elsdon and Laurie Chescoe jazz bands and was a member of the Pasadena Roof Orchestra. His witty and technically brilliant sousaphone playing, honed by long experience of brass band work, was a driving force in the rhythm section of the chart-topping Temperance Seven group for five years.
