Short profile:

From Bologna Italy “Ragu alla Bolognese” is the recipe’s correct title.

Authentically rich with tomato, onion and mushroom. A real depth of

flavour coming from red wine, garlic and finished with oregano.

We have deviated from Italy by packing it full of our best steak

mince. We believe it’s the meatiest you’ll find anywhere!

Perfect to pour over your chosen spaghetti or fresh pasta.

Or even use for the very finest “cheats homemade” lasagne.

Detailed description:

A Local traditional dish using Samuel Smiths Stout brewed 6 miles

from our farm. The stout & a dash of Worcestershire sauce creates

rich almost sweet gravy which compliments the carrot batons & our

chunks of lean steak, which simply melt. Serve with fluffy mash or

jacket potato & accompany with seasonal dark greens.
