Disability North is a user led registered charity which works with, and for, disabled people, empowering them to maximise the control they have over their own lives.

Our Mission: Disability North promotes inclusion, independence and choice for disabled people in the region. Our Vision: To be the best resource on disability in the North. Whether a disability is from a lifelong impairment, an accident, illness or advancing age, people are usually poorly informed about disability benefits, welfare rights and the availability and suitability of assistive equipment. The Disability North Service Team offers you a demand led, person centred approach who will consider all of your individual needs and provide you with the solutions to address them. We give free, confidential and independent information on a wide range of disability issues to disabled and older people and anyone with an interest in disability.
