Short profile:

Jenny Poyner was the first person to be a registered access auditor in Birmingham becoming an Auditor Member of the National Register of Access Consultant in 2001.

She has a long experience of monitoring and advising on services and facilities for disabled people in all kinds of venues from major factories and exhibition centre's to health trusts and housing associations.

Detailed description:

Jenny managed Disability Access Charter until 2005, and now offers a help line service to disabled people, professionals and carers to advise on access Auditing and training. She continues to provide Radar Keys which gives access to the NKS Radar accessible toilets nationally.

Through her work with the charity, Jenny has gained a great deal of experience in access auditing and training in disability awareness/equalities and access issues.

Jenny became the first person in Birmingham to become an auditor member of the National Register of Access Consultants. She has worked with clients such as Cadbury World, Birmingham City Council, Birmingham Children's Hospital, NEC Group, plus small organisations and charities.

In 2006, Jenny finally completed the Inclusive Environments Degree course at Reading University, and continues with her auditor membership with The National Register of Access Consultants.
