The Dewsbury, Wakefield and Pontefract GP Specialist Training Programme provides training for doctors wishing to become GPs across the hospitals and GP training practices around Dewsbury, Wakefield and Pontefract. We currently have ovee 110 doctors in training programmes.
Detailed description:
All of our GP training practices have been approved for GP training by the Yorkshire and Humber General Practice Deanery. Our practices vary from large town pracgtices to small, rural, dispensing practices. Some are in affluent areas others are in very deprived areas. Look at our list of posts to choose where you would like to be attached. Training programmes are run at Pinderfields Medical Education Centre and at training suites in two of our local training practices - Adwalton Surgery at Drighlington and Kings Medical Centre at Normanton
