Designer Colours was established as a retail DIY shop in 1974 in North West London. Over the years since then we have specialised more and more in the field of paint and other interior finishes, and now offer one of the most comprehensive ranges in the U.K. Currently we have two showrooms; our Stanmore showroom (established 1991) and our Mill Hill showroom (established 1994). At both of these locations we have been serving the local community well, and are well renowned for our excellent choice and service. In 1998 we decided that we had something that we could offer the the entire United Kingdom and we made our debut online.

Artline Decor mouldings are made from polyurethane, and state-of-the-art technology creates a coving of incredibly high definition which, unlike plaster, is: Lightweight, Robust, Easy to fix, hard to damage, acid, alkali, and water resistant. These provide finer detail in design than extruded mouldings such as Emafyl ones, and are much lighter than plaster mouldings from the likes of Stevensons of Norwich and others.
For that beautiful natural timber finish we stock the best preserver and treatments on the market. Names like Sikkens, Dulux, Deft, Hicksons, Sadolin, Ronseal, Rustins, Cuprinol, Liberon and Briwax, they give the look and protection the timber needs. If you are looking for a specialist wood finisher & polisher, we can order Bolloms Wood Finishing Products.At a fraction of the cost of plaster columns, these mouldings are lightweight and therefore much easier to work with, yet are robust, acid, alkali and water resistant, do not damage easily, and are pre-finished in white primer so can be painted straight away.
