Chaddesden and Spondon are both long-established villages to the east of Derby. Both are mentioned in the Domesday book as being a mix of meadow, woodland pasture and farming land. Even in the mid-1990s many of our patients could remember a time when Chaddesden and Spondon were villages outside the limits of the town of Derby.
Detailed description:
Likewise, the practice is long-established and with origins dating to before the founding of the National Health Service in 1948. Today we serve, in the main, the people of Chaddesden and Spondon but take in also patients from the Little Chester, Breadsall, Oakwood, Borrowash and Ockbrook areas. The practice serves approximately 12, 000 patients altogether
