DEMAND transforms the lives of disabled people by designing and manufacturing equipment where no “off the shelf” product is available. This equipment enables users to achieve everyday tasks, to participate in sport and leisure activities and to speed recovery from disabling injuries.
We recognise that every individual has their own specific requirements and tailor the equipment to meet them. We supply the equipment free of charge to individuals (though we always welcome a donation!) but charge Health and Social Services, or Private and Public Organisations for the work we do.

Our Boccia ramps are known throughout the world. Choosing the right one for you involves talking about how you play the game. Please call to discuss your needs.
Please note: All our ramps require adjustment and steadying. It does require skill and practice to get the best performance out of these items.
Walker, grabbers, walking sticks and much much more. All items are secondhand but in very good condition. Everything on offer is inspected, repaired and serviced before dispatch to you.
Unwanted equipment which has been donated to DEMAND can be used in several ways. We can break some items down into components that will then be reused in the items we manufacture and give away free of charge to hundreds of disabled clients each year. Material can be reclaimed and reworked into totally new products and in some cases the equipment can be repaired and then loaned or sold to help raise much needed donations allowing us to continue our work helping others.
DEMAND has always been happy to repair or modify other people’s equipment, whether it’s modifing new equipment to meet a specific task or adjusting an old piece of equipment so it’s more suitable for the clients needs.
DEMAND will also happily repair, where possible, old equipment, where the original supplier has either gone out of business or no longer supports the model.
DEMAND’S SALES SITE, contains a large number of refurbished items from second hand Wheelchairs through to Walking Aids, Scooters, Beds, Hoists, Grabbers, Bathers, Shower Chairs, Commodes and many more items.
