Detailed description:
We have effective tracking systems in place to record and monitor childrens progress.
Children who are peforming below expectation are quickly identified and referred to our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator who will assess and create an Individual Education Plan to closely meet the needs of children.
We cluster children to ensure effective differentiation to match learning needs.
We have a dynamic curriculum map with the focus being on topic led curriculum which makes the curriculum more relevant and sympathetic to the needs of our children. With cross curricular links we are able to make the curriculum more exciting and enjoyable for all.
All parents recieve a weekly newsletter informing them of news and events taking place. Delabole also has a community paper into which contributions from the school are made.
