Our school mission statement says: "We aim to provide a broad, balanced curriculum which is well planned, differentiated and stimulating, enabling all children to reach their full potential."•The school does well in competitive sports and PE. We have teams competing locally in football, netball, rounders, cricket, swimming and indoor/outdoor athletics.•Music is a key part of our curriculum. We provide individual instrument tuition.
The orchestra and singers take part in local festivals. At Christmas they visit local residential homes and perform in the Macclesfield shopping precinct to raise funds for charity.•Other activities and clubs include art, gymnastics, magazine publishing, country dancing, drama, pottery (we have a kiln), science and ICT.•Yrs.
5/6 attend residential trips.
