Detailed description:
The history of the restaurant’s namesake, Simon De Montfort is depicted in numerous plaques on the styled Farrow and Ball painted walls. There are several cosy areas in which to dine, ideal for small intimate parties and functions, a world away from the modern corporate venue, as the original building has stood the test of time for over 500 years.
English style food is reflected in the menus prepared by two chefs, of rosette standard, creating menus that make it a challenge for customers to choose. Interesting dishes are prepared using local produce (at least 85%) wherever possible with an excellent good choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.

Captain Parsley“Divine, Delightful & Deliriously Delicious! It’s not often that a venue ticks all the boxes but this place simply explodes with professionalism, style and wonderful food. Called in for lunch on Saturday as passing through into Evesham, had not been there for a few years so the recent makeover was a very pleasant surprise.
From the moment we entered were made to feel extremely welcome and that nothing was too much trouble! Every inch of the place is tastefully decorated and the bar area had a warm, comfortable and relaxing feel to it. The food arrived at exactly the right moment and was worthy of a high class London restaurant, both from presentation and taste (and at a fraction of the cost)
If you are looking for excellent cuisine, professional staff and a relaxing ambience, this is the place to visit.
We will be making the trip there from Kidderminster to eat on a regular basis! Many thanks for a simply wonderful lunch!
