Detailed description:
The company, which is a private Limited Liability company, was established in January 2005 by David Bourne as Dave Bourne Limited. The company was based in Swindon and relocated to Malmesbury in Wiltshire in 2009. Although the company is relatively new, the management and senior staff have considerable experience in utilities and associated industries. The primary business activity is the installation, maintenance and repair of underground utility services of gas, water, electricity, data cables and ducts. Methods used include open cut trenches, directional drilling, insertion and moling.
Pipeline materials experience includes ductile steel, cast iron and polyethylene. Most of the company’s contracts are undertaken as subcontractors to utility companies, major civil engineering or building contractors. We have an excellent reputation in the trade for reliable, quality work of which we are justifiable proud. In 2009, during a corporate restructuring, Terry Elderfield joined the company to bring administration and project management experience to strengthen the team.
After this restructuring, the company was re-launched as Dave Bourne Utilities Limited. (DBUL)
