Datum Land Development Consultants was launched by Brian Leng, Arthur Miller and Kevin Boal in January 2000 and became a limited company in April 2005.
The consultancy has extensive knowledge and experience in the Local Authority and Public Utility environment, dealing exclusively with the development of land for commercial and residential purposes.
Datum has an extensive client portfolio having evolved and expanded to satisfy specific client requirements and although our office is based in Sunderland projects to-date have ranged from Yorkshire to the Scottish Borders
Detailed description:
The design and detailing of roads and sewers to adoptable standards for all types of Greenfield or Brownfield developments including major housing regeneration projects.
Establishing optimum finished floor levels, plot drainage and garden levels, together with associated setting-out information.
Coordination of remedial works and liaison with the Local Authority / Water Company to obtain adoption at the earliest opportunity.
Undertaking simple flood studies or project management where a specialist consultant is required to analyse a river or watercourse.
Advising on this often complicated process and working with the local Water Company to ensure a cost effective solution.
Preparing services reports to identify problems, risks and hence costs associated with potential sites. These reports can be varied in depth to suit individual client requirements.
