Four curriculum pathways are available according to need and ability of pupils. All pupils are offered a vocational option. There is an extensive range of curriculum subject areas and types of assessments to choose from. This includes the 14-19 Diploma
Core Science, additional Science, Additional Applied Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and BTEC Science are offered as appropriate
German, French and British Sign Language are offered at KS4. Uptake for French and German are low. To address this languages were given as a compulsory block to top sets. British Sign Language is becoming increasingly popular
Saturday morning Advance Learning Centres, Easter and Summer schools take place for Year 6 and Year 7 able pupils
A full range of activities are offered to pupils. This ranges from Enterprise clubs to Handwriting club. 35 different sports and fitness clubs are offered including a very successful Duke of Edinburgh and Adventure Service Challenge schemes
Pupils run their own radio station which broadcasts at lunch and broadcasts globally once a year
Foreign pupil exchanges take place annually. Enrichment activities such as school trips ensure memorable learning experiences
