Short profile:
The school fulfills the Governments recommendations for 2 hours PE every week for all children.
The school provides an excellent range of activities for learners, including a wide range of sporting activities. A sports coach delivers PE to children in Years 1 to 6.Children take part in inter school sports events with other local schools.
School visits are encouraged to further develop children’s understanding of their work. Children are offered the opportunity to go on a residential in year 6.
Discos are organised by the school council and funds raised are used for purchasing equipment for school.
A range of after school clubs are available, such as dance, cookery, needlecraft and art which are well attended.
Detailed description:
Our new Early Years unit is housed in a purposely designed building and provides an excellent education where the children have the opportunity to explore using a ‘hands on' approach and they experience wide varieties of learning both inside and outside. This approach is extended throughout school wherever possible.
At All Saints’ Primary School, every child matters within a supportive Christian ethos. We strive hard to make a difference and to promote enjoyable learning for all.
