Short profile:
Dawson Field was donated to the Parish of Danbury by the Dawson Family who lived in Frettons, firstly in 1947 and more in 1982. This enabled the Sports and Social Centre to be built. The Danbury Sports & Social Centre is managed by the Danbury Community Association (Trust) Ltd. Our lifestyle gym is a superb facility. Combining the latest high tech cardiovascular machines and a full range of weight resistance equipment.

A wide range of activities are available at the Danbury Sports & Social Centre for you and your family to enjoy. Open early until late in the evening to allow you to fit sport and leisure into your busy lifestyle. Relax with friends and enjoy a drink in our bar at club prices. Celebrate, commiserate or discuss tactics for your next activity.
Improve on a sport or activity you have tried before, or have a go at a new one. Membership allows you to do just that and at preferential prices. Badminton, Aerobics, Pilates, Table Tennis, Snooker, Bridge Clubs, Martial Arts, just a few of the activites at the Danbury Sports Centre.
