We provide a range of specialist and personalised support services for people with autism, including Asperger’s Syndrome, associated learning disabilities and complex needs, including support for people's families.
Detailed description:
Our Springside Service is set up to help people with autism or Asperger’s manage their condition, and progress with their lives.
We run an outreach service for people with autism and Asperger’s living in the South West. We go to people’s homes or community centres, and offer them the support they need. This could be emotional, social or practical help.
While Cygnet Springside Exeter is an already established provider of Outreach Services to those with an Autistic Spectrum Condition and associated conditions we are now also able to offer even more Specialist Outreach Services to those requiring higher levels of support or a bespoke care package.
By working collaboratively across agencies we are able to co ordinate a holistic approach that can meet the needs of those with challenging behaviour. The aim of Cygnet Springside is to promote independent living and social community inclusion whilst ensuring that mechanisms are in place to identify and respond to changes in need or support requirements.
