The fully refurbished Pulse Fitness gym at Cygnet is part of a 2.5 million pound investment scheme. Over two floors, it boasts 72 stations of state-of-the-art equipment including treadmills, crosstrainers, upright and recumbent bikes, rowers, steppers and arm bikes. There are separate areas for fixed weight and free weight resistance training and equipment is fully accessible for wheelchair users.
The Pulse Fitness equipment works in conjunction with each member’s Pulse Smart Card. Swipe in at the kiosk at the beginning of the work-out and use the card in each piece of equipment, throughout. All information from the training session is then recorded and emailed to home addresses, for personal records.
