Cults Lawn Tennis Club was founded in 1887 and today has six floodlit artificial grass courts playable almost all year round. The Club currently has a comprehensive coaching programme led by the coaching team, and a vibrant social calendar for all ages!! CLTC welcomes players of all standards and prides itself in being family orientated. The Clubhouse boasts changing rooms, kitchen, lounge area, junior area with table tennis and its very own Tennis shop. The Club is represented by many talented players in both local and national events.
Detailed description:
CLTC is run by a dedicated number of volunteers who work hard to offer a wide variety of activities and ensure its smooth day to day running as well as longer term planning and maintenance. We have a vibrant social calendar and all players are welcome to attend social tennis which consists of players mixing in, playing one short set and then changing partners/opponents. Cults Tennis Club achieved their Tennis Clubmark accreditation in August 2009. Achieving Tennis Clubmark means that the LTA endorses our tennis programme, policies and procedures, action anddevelopment planning and club management.
