As well as our photographic work we are also committed to working with young people with low self esteem. Since we’re still young enough to remember growing up and how important image was (and still is!) we want to try and make a difference. We’ve found that photography is a great way of getting young people to open up. In our seminars we discuss the unrealistic images in the media and how they impact self confidence. Although most young people recognise that photographs are digitally enhanced, they still aspire to look like these pictures. This is why our seminars are still popular with youth groups and Education to Employment organisations.

Our Photographic teaching caters for both individuals and groups. Past projects include a day’s work experience at the studio in which we start our student off with their own portfolio. We also do a four week basic course in photography which reaches a climax with a public exhibition of the students work. These have been successfully completed with Connexions and Bolton Community College.
