Short profile:

Crowlands Infants provides a broad and balanced curriculum which meets the requirements of the National Curriculum through the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). Nursery and Reception classes provide the full range of Foundation Stage Curriculum areas of learning in well equipped indoor and outdoor spaces. Foundation Stage staff also refer to IPC topics in their planning.

Children experience a range of educational visits to support learning in these topics, for example, Eastbury Manor House and Havering Country Park.

Throughout the year we hold a number of special themed weeks, related to Books, Science, Maths and Health, where the curriculum is enriched by many subject specialist teachers, theatre groups and visiting artists. These weeks also encourage links with home through competitions such as 'Design a Healthy Packed Lunch Box'

A variety of out of school clubs are provided:- Choir, Games, Maths, Science and Dance following a termly programme across the year.

Year 2 children participate in local events such as the Infant Music Festival and the Borough Athletics competition.
