CROW HOW COUNTRY GUEST HOUSE

There are few better sited country houses in the area, located in two acres of private woodland gardens we are surrounded by the magnificent Fairfield Horseshoe and Loughrigg Fell, with splendid views out towards the fields of Rydal Valley to the front of the house. Set peacefully away from the road we are half a mile from Ambleside and ten minutes drive from Grasmere.

Surrounded by fells and mountains and with three beautiful lakes virtually on your doorstep you are spoilt for choice with walks and hikes to suit all abilities.

For breakfast we offer choices of cereals and fruits for breakfast, along with our Cumbrian style breakfast with the highest quality of locally sourced ingredients used and which can be customised to suit your appetite. Please note that breakfast is served between 8:30 and 9:00am

Our evening meals are only available when booking half board for 3, 4 and 5 night stays (see our Tariff & Offers section) . We offer 2 to 3 choices for each of our three courses which change each evening, with a choice of coffee, tea or speciality drinks to enjoy afterwards in the lounge or snug. After a hard day's leisure, a pre-dinner drink in the Resident's Lounge and dinner in our candlelit dining room will help restore one's equilibrium, perhaps followed by a 'night cap' in our Crows Nest Snug. We offer a variety of wines that will compliment your meal. Dinner is served between 6:30 and 7:00pm.
