Crossroads Care East Kent covers the whole area of East Kent, which encompasses the Isles of Sheppey and Thanet, the City of Canterbury and surrounding rural villages, the coastal towns of Whitstable and Herne Bay where our office premises are, the Swale towns of Sittingbourne and Faversham, Dover, Deal, Ashford, Folkestone and Shepway.
Detailed description:
Our Carer Support workers are in four teams delivering approximately 70, 000 hours of support in carers’ homes to around 600 families each year! The scheme continues to work together with Canterbury Parkinson’s Disease Society, Kent County Council - Social Services, Macmillan Cancer Support, and Eastern and Coastal NHS Primary Care Trust to deliver services throughout East Kent. Like all CROSSOADS CARE schemes we are registered with the Care Quality Commission and were graded as EXCELLENT at our last inspection. We also continue to meet level 3 of the CROSSROADS CARE's own quality assurance scheme, CROQUET.
