Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary, the only educational equine welfare charity in N.Ireland, began as a response to an inadequate animal welfare system. Since being granted charitable status in 1996 it has brought equine welfare and education to the fore. It is committed to promoting awareness and knowledge of animal welfare issues throughout the province.
