The Crooklands 3 star Hotel Bar & Restaurant, is situated in a peaceful rural location just a four miles south of the market town of Kendal, one mile South of the M6 Junction 36 on the A65 old route to Kendal and the Lake District National Park visit Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales from our superb location.
As the owners of The Crooklands we would like to extend a warm welcome to all customers, old and new. With over 40 years experience in other hotels in the area we have learned that the secret of a good hotel is not only top quality facilities but also a friendly and relaxing atmosphere - you will certainly find both at The Crooklands. The hotel is family owned, ensuring personal service and attention to standards at all times.

Crooklands we have three conference rooms available; The Westmorland Suite the largest can seat 70.
Detailed description:
At Crooklands Hotel we have thirty en-suite bedrooms available, fourteen of which are twin bedded rooms and the remaining sixteen are double rooms. We have a choice of Standard, Superior or Executive rooms. We have just completed the refurbishment on 8 of our Standard rooms (now of superior quality) 6 now remain to be completed during the winter season, we are committed to complete our program of works with a possible 3 more Executive rooms by 2010.
All bedrooms offer clothes storage facilities, writing desk with good lighting, colour televisions, radio, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and room service.
En-suite bathrooms come as standard in all 30 bedrooms and include toilet, hand basin and bath/shower.
At Crooklands you have plenty of choice when it comes to dining you will find three areas including our Old World Hayloft which is now used for Private dinner parties. You will also find "The Cottage" and our new Dining area Jules Restaurant with its glass roof.
Whether it’s a simple drink and a snack in the bar or outside patio area (Weather Permitting!), or something a little more formal in our Cottage or Jules Restaurant we are sure that you will find dishes to your liking.
Sunday Lunch Carvery is served in the 1st floor hayloft Suite where you can step back in time and keep yourself amused by just looking round the room at the various artefacts from years gone by, it also offers wonderful views across the Lancaster Canal.
