Croft Wingates has been involved in ‘the picture business’ since 1975 and over the past 30 or more years have seen a big change in the ‘art world’. Stocking a mixture of original and limited edition work from artists based at home in the UK and internationally there is always a wide collection for you to come in and look at.
Detailed description:
In 2002 we moved in to the new purpose built gallery and now have nearly 2000 sq ft over two floors showing some of the most interesting work from both established and up and coming artists in a friendly warm atmosphere, there is always a cup of coffee ready for you while you look around at your leisure. John & Jenni Snape have over 50 years of experience between them and their staff in the gallery are knowledgeable and very helpful.
So whatever you are looking for be assured of a warm welcome to Croft Wingates. We are open Monday to Saturday from 9.30 am to 5.30pm and at other times by appointment.
There are regular exhibitions, artists appearances and events in the gallery so keep an eye on the what’s on page or better still let us add your details to our mailing list and we will invite you along.
