Through the inclusion of an international focus at Crigglestone St. James’ CE (VC) J & I School, we are able to offer to our children, a range of experiences that will enhance their learning and raise awareness of their national and international identity.
We value our links with St James' Church and the local community and our church school ethos is central to all that we do.
We want our children to really enjoy their learning experiences and reguarly ask their views on what and how they would like to learn. As a result, our curriculum is creative, rich and diverse; attendance is well above national average and standards are high.
Our school is a Creative Partnership school, an Open Futures Development School and a Yorkshire and Humber Regional Centre for Gifted and Talented. In addition, we are accredited with Investors in Pupils, Healthy schools, ICT Mark, Inclusion Now.
