As we have grown so has our understanding that each project is different. There is no “one size fits all” method that works for everyone, however we always follow some golden rules that help our team of senior designers and dedicated account handlers understand how to get from brief to delivery both quickly and efficiently.

Firstly we discuss requirements at an initial meeting, then once costs and timings have been agreed, we work with you, advising when necessary and giving weekly progress reports.

We are passionate about delivering a first class design and marketing experience so we have also developed a secure online briefing system for clients who need to brief, track and approve work online, giving project overviews and up-to-date proofs, available any time of the day. This innovative system ensures projects stay on budget and on time.

Mark and Alex setup the Sponge several years ago. Why did they do it? Well, both had a fair bit of experience (over 20 years between them) Alex on client side and Mark on design – both had separately worked for big brand names and agencies in the UK and also Australia where the mix of hard work in a relaxed environment inspired the belief that you have to really enjoy your work to be good at it.

We believe an agency is only as good as its people and we are very proud of our team of designers, account handlers, copywriters, photographers and website developers.
