The en-suite bathroom has a roll top bath on a stripped wooden floor. It boasts a spacious en-suite bathroom, TV, refreshment-making facilities, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries and fluffy towels, all provided to make your stay a memorable experience. The Area: Alnwick, in the heart of Northumberland, is well-placed for the visitor to this most picturesque of areas. There are the long sandy beaches, quiet villages, and the magnificent Cheviot Hills nearby. History is all around you, with Alnwick Castle just one of many medieval fortresses in the area.
The Alnwick Garden is also a must for the visitor. The Alnwick area boasts many fine eating places as well as interesting shops. Further afield, Newcastle is a major shopping and entertainment centre, and is only 40 minutes to the south. Location: Alnwick is 38 miles north of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, just off the A1.
