During the school day we have increased the opportunities for pupils to experience a range of activities.There is drama, singing, brass instruments, football and dance, swimming, guitar, violin Out of hours activities include steel drums, Drumestra [ African drumming] computer club, football, netball, basketball, electric guitar and gardening club
We also have regular school trips for each class to enrich their learning and we invite a threatre company to come to the school twice a year and Year 6 have a performace of Macbeth to support their literacy work. Year 2 children have an activity camp in school over a Friday night and Saturday, Year 4 children go to Whitby to study a coastal region and year 5 go to Doly Moch an outward bound residential trip based in Wales.
The school access funding to enable children identified on the G&T register to access speciallly planned actitivities to challenge their thinking and special talents.
The school has links with the local Secondary School which is a Sports College and through the links regular sport team fixtures are made. The children do athletics, girls and boys football, dance, tennis and swimming.
