Country Books/Ashridge Press is a small independent publisher founded in 1985, now specialising in local history titles. As well as original titles, we also produce reprints of scarce and out-of-print classic county books.
Detailed description:
We welcome submissions from authors for future titles. In the first instance, we welcome a synopsis. We also accept suggestions for facsimile editions of out-of-print local history books – never a commercial venture, but we believe it to be important to make the information available to a wider readership.
