Short profile:

I am an experienced Counsellor/ Mental Health Practitioner and Supervisor. I have worked with people from very diverse backgrounds for the last 15 years.

I provide a safe and confidential environment for you to explore your issues . These issues may be presenting itself in the form of depression, anxiety, anger, effecting your relationship with your loved ones or perhaps effecting your work performances. I aim to encourage you to develop skills to cope with your day to day issues and to learn how to deal with the negative patterns of behavior in order to make change and move forward.

I aim to provide a space in which you do not not feel under threat or judgement and allow you to be the person that you aspire to be and regain your confidence. This enables you to experience and accept more of who you are as a person, and reconnect with your own values and sense of self-worth.

I also use CBT techniques to help you overcome a particular problem

  • Counselling

    Counselling takes place when a counsellor sees a client in a private and confidential setting to explore a difficulty the client is having, distress they may be experiencing or perhaps their dissatisfaction with life, or loss of a sense of direction and purpose.

Detailed description:

I have extensive knowledge and experience of working in Mental Health in the NHS - Voluntary Sector and privately and have been a member of BACP through out my practice which means I offer my client a high standard of care. I have been working under the BACP ( British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) guidelines with regular supervision and I adhere to its code of ethics. I offer Counselling to Adults, Adolescents and Couples on a short term as well as long term basis.
