Coterie started life in 2007 as a contemporary design gallery. Since then its owner Tracy Watkins has developed her own line of work, leather bags and accessories and now concentrates solely on these.
Detailed description:
Coterie handmade leather bags and accessories are made from the finest leather. Inspired by the natural qualities of leather hide I use this as the basis for my work. The leather I use are generally offcuts from the furniture industry and I try to use salvaged and found fixings as much as I can. I love working with leather and make simple and functional pieces that are skilfully designed and made with great attention to detail. Each one individually made so no one item is ever the same.
