Our Core purpose continues to be raising the overall achievements of all learners. We make sure that learning and teaching matches individual needs, challenges and inspires minds and ensures that every young person aspires to achieve their personal best.
We are very proud of the achievements of all our students. The examination results of 2010 were the best ever in the history of the school.
In 2010, at the end of Year 11 85% of students achieved 5 A* - C grades and 54% achieved 5 A* - C grades including English and Maths. 97% of all Y11 students left with at least 5 A* - G grades.
At post 16 93% of A level students achieved pass grades and all students who wished to progress on to university have successfully done so.
The successful achievements of our students reflect their hard work and commitment, the professional support and dedication of staff and the supportive and positive partnership that is formed with parents and carers.
