Was given this as a present and within 10min of use the power pack exploded and caught fire. Have reported the issue to them and await their response.
I believe there is a safety issue here and will have the item tested by Trading Standards.
If you have one of these you should not leave it plugged in to the mains and left unattended.
The product No. is 9366 and the power adaptor is Model KS868.

the company is the same as others, no company is perfect the way i look at it, there are ups and downs of the company products but i've been forunate. i've had bad dealings with big company and this one in comparisent isn't too bad. but not every shop is for everyone. Hope i don't get a bad time but if i do i'm sure it will get sorted, trick i find is to be persistent with all companies it's the only way of getting anywhere.4 months ago#ccm01
Do not use
Just got my delivery of 6 items that is 6 weeks after I placed the order after4 weeks I phoned and asked where myorder was the said they were still waiting for one out of stock item but would like the rest delivered I said still it did not come I phoned and asked where my part order was told they could only request the order to be sent if the warehouse decided not to send you would no get. Quality of Product
The product ( Outdoor Storage Box) was reduced in price. No wonder - virtually impossible for me to assemble without breaking/chipping the plasic. Unable to return for refund as they will not accept unless " in pristine condition".

The voucher trick
I too wish that I had read this blog about poor customer service from Coopers of Stortford! I just completed an order for a lamp - expecting a place to open for my £5 off voucher code to be entered - but it just moved through to finalising the order and my £5 off offer has been lost. I don't like being cheated like that - even if the order was not for that large an amount. I also don't like companies that trade on line, promising a lot and then failing to deal with their customers promptly and apparently effectively too. Never again! Purchased their fryer which broke down on first use (no power) so tried to contact the store by phone, spend 15 minutes wating of cutomer services then gave up. Got through to the sales department but they say they can't transfer call to customer services but could take my details and someone would phone me back in 48hours! I've used Coopers a few times and always received stuff, though not immediately. Would be nice to know if it's delayed. Quality is reasonable for the price. Can often get things I can't get in local shops, and often put in online order at midnight, which is useful. I ordered the goods on 5th October and they have still not arrived. I have emailed twice and each time received an automated reply saying that they are very busy but will reply within one day - nothing.
Each time I telephoned I have been told that I was either 25th or (today) 37th on the waiting list.

Alas, I have to agree with the other customers: the customer service is non-existant: whenever I try to contact them "my call is very important to them" only I am 37th in the queue!
