Cookridge Holy Trinity Church of England (Aided) Primary School caters for children aged 4+ to 11 years. Holy Trinity is a two-form entry school, with mixed-ability classes in each of the seven year groups. There are fourteen classrooms, a library area, ICT suite and a large hall that is also used as a dining area at lunch times. Outside there are three playgrounds and a playing field. The large wooded area on the boundary of the site has been developed to provide opportunities for a range of outdoor learning opportunities.
The school is about to go through a very exciting period of development with work due to commence on new classrooms, a hall extension, new pedestrian and cycle entrance together with shelter and cycle store
As well as offering all pupils two hours of PE every week we enrich the curriculum by providing a range of extra-curricular activities, including; Professional coaching for athletics, multi-skills, rugby and tennis, leading to participation in local sports festivals; Drama club, choir, band, instrumental tuition and eco-club (gardening); Outings, visits, field weeks (residential and non-residential); Visiting poets, writers, artists, theatre groups; Discos and attending theatre performances
