Community Hospitals Alliance is a partnership between MedicX and Arkanum to finance, build and operate community hospitals in support of the NHS Services at the hospital will be offered by both public and private healthcare providers. Delivered from NHS-branded premises these services will be fully integrated into the local healthcare system to increase access and choice for the local population.
Detailed description:
The Alliance will work closely with commissioners and local providers to identify the services they want in their community hospital then design the facilities, provide the equipment and recruit the staff to deliver them. Patients will be able to access a wide range of services under one roof including outpatient consultations, elective day surgery, endoscopy and imaging diagnostics. The hospital can also include a GP surgery, community beds and walk-in centre to meet local health requirements.
