Richard Kearnes of Coastal Communications UK started his business in 1982 specialising in citizen band (cb) radio equipment and accessories. Supplying local cb enthusiasts on the Essex coast in Clacton-on-Sea, UK, Coastal Communications UK soon became known for its quality of service and friendly staff. Although over the years staff have come and gone, Richard has maintained his presence in this ever changing world and continued to provide the level of service we have come to expect from independent local retailers. Richard started his career as a radio engineer, at Marconi in Chelmsford, and has brought his vast knowledge and expertise to the cb and amateur radio community.
