The DeLaval AMRTM will suit herds exceeding 300 cows, the first commercial rotaries will have a 90 cow/hour capacity, and up to five robots will simultaneously operate the system.
The system will be operated by two robots for teat preparation and another two robots for milking cup attachment. Thus, 4 robots will work on 4 cows at the same time. Additionally, a 5th robot will handle teat disinfection after milking has finished. This function is fully automatic and sprays each teat independently using a state of the art time of flight camera that sees the teats and locate them in real time in 3D.

The Company was formed by Harry and Eileen Coar and was based on Preston's Cattle Market in premises previously occupied by Gibsons of Garstang.
We Employed our first Van Salesman Brian Davies, to cover the local area and a month later our first Delivery Driver Shaun Reid. Both employee's are still with our company.
Embraced new technology when we invested in our first computer system, meaning that we no longer had to write our invoices by hand.
There were big changes when we moved from our premises of 20 years to a larger site on Green Lane West in Garstang due to outgrowing our shop and warehouse and also the re-development of the Cattle Market for housing.
Expanded further into the county of Yorkshire by taking on a branch at Northallerton that was previously run by Delaval. This new branch is called Coars (NE) Ltd and has three employees, Allen Laverick a salesman and two engineers, John Trenholme and Brian Eves.
