It is a consumer website run by the Coach Tourism Council (CTC). The CTC was set up 22 years ago to promote travel and tourism by coach. It has a membership of nearly 300 nearly half of whom are coach tour operators from across the UK, who generally also offer coaches for private hire and group bookings. The other half of the membership is made up of industry supporters who help make up the coach tourism package – they include hotels and hotel groups, Tourist Boards and major visitor attractions as well as ferry operators.
