  Recently brought this Electric hob and paid full cash including fit on the same day? but nobody turned up? called the store and on 4 occasions the bloke kept promising they will come round and im still waiting after nearly a week.

  I bought 5 items from this shop 2 extractor fans 1 oven 1 set of sink & taps and a freezer.

  The first extractor fan was clearly not brand new and was dented and scratched, this was exchanged for a second more expensive extractor fan which was obviously second hand! it was scratched and had been put up and taken down presumably as a display model (as part of the fitting process there was a “sticky” panel inside the unit which was all ripped off and no longer sticky which meant the kitchen fitter was unable to fit it).

  The oven (which was the most expensive item) the glass door exploded the first time I attempted to use it. 6 weeks later I am still waiting for a replacement and have been fobbed off and had so many promises made to me none of which have materialised.

  I asked for my money back for the second extractor fan and was told that this was no problem, however, 4 times they told me they would come and pick it up and refund my money but on 3 occasions they never turned up and on the 4th time someone arrived to collect it he never had my refund (i stupidly had paid cash) claiming to have no money in the till at the end of the day.

  I am now having to refer to Trading Standards as they are refusing to give me back my money so I am about £1200 out of pocket with a broken oven and an unusable extractor fan. I am now waiting for the other 2 items to breakdown.

  I am very dissappointed and amazed that they are still trading.

  • T Miah:mee too had a similar problem...brought this Electric hob that included fitting, they told me it would be done on the same day during the afternoon between 3-5pm? then nobody turned up...called the store on 4 occasions and everytime they keep giving me a time and fail to show up? it's been almost week and still not done the job...outlet should be shutdown for good! i can't believe they are still trading????
